1st. Day (Tuesday) MADRID-CORDOBA-SEVILLA (530 kms)
Departure from our bus terminal at 8:00 a.m. south- wards through the land of La Mancha to Andalucia. Arrival to Cordoba. City sightseeing tour, visiting the great Mosque, once the spiritual center of the Islamic world, with a Gothic Cathedral built inside and the Jewish Quarter. After the visit continue to Sevilla. Dinner and overnight accommodations.
2nd. Day (Wednesday) SEVILLA
Half board. Morning city sightseeing tour, including María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the city’s stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, called Giralda and the typical neighbourhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares and narrow alleys. If you wish, you can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir river, during which you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or visit to the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, also as an op- tional activity, you can attend a flamenco show.
3rd. Day (Thursday) SEVILLA-RONDACOSTA DEL SOL (190 kms)
Breakfast. Then departure to the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. Free time. Continuation to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodations.
4th. Day (Friday) COSTA DEL SOL-TANGIERCASABLANCA (Ferry) (560 km)
Breakfast. Departure from the Costa del Sol to embark for Tangier crossing the Strait of Gibraltar. Arrival in Morocco and continuation to Casablanca, the economic capital of the country. Dinner and accommodation.
5th. Day (Saturday) CASABLANCA-MARRAKECH (245 km)
Breakfast and panoramic view of Casablanca, we will go to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, only surpassed by Mecca, visit outside and free time before leaving for Marrakech, one of the important imperial cities. Lunch. In the afternoon the visit starts toward the Koutouia Mosque, formerly used as a bookstore, it is the symbol of the city. We will continue to the sumptuous Bahia Palace, built in the 19th century by hundreds of arti- sans from Fez. From the Jewish quarter or Mellah and through the kissaría square we will arrive at the Djmaa El Fna square, a living museum and intangible cultural her- itage of Humanity, where storytellers, snake charmers, jugglers, dancers and more, constitute an authentic court of miracles. The visit continues through the souk and its narrow streets full of shops, workshops and ter- races. We will visit its guilds of carpenters, sharpeners... Free time to do some extra activity. Accommodation.
6th. Day (Sunday) MARRAKECH-RABAT-FEZ (535 km)
After breakfast departure to Rabat, the administrative capital of the country, another of the imperial cities and of- ficial residence of the royal family. We will visit its key points such as Tour Hassan, an unfinished mosque that rises dominating the esplanade with more than 200 columns and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, built in memory of the sultan who achieved the independence of the country and in which the royal guard, in colorful costume in full dress, they guard the entrance to the monument on horseback. In the afternoon arrival in Fez. Dinner and accommodation.
7th. Day (Monday) FEZ
Breakfast and visit of the first of the imperial cities, s the intellectual and religious capital of Morocco. We will start with a panoramic tour from the hotel to visit the royal palace and its 7 gates or Dar Al-Makhzen on the way to the fascinating world of the medina of Fez El Bali, the oldest and most extensive in Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 785 mosques and more than 2,000 squares, streets and alleys that represent a labyrinthine return in time. From Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine square we will make a journey through the centuries starting in the 9th to the 19th century, along the walk we will know how these alleys are structured, the different construc- tions that make up the walls of the medina, in addition from its artisan guilds and neighborhoods such as leather tanners or seamstresses to see their old ways of working. We will know a Medersa and we will finish to the sound of the hammer of the potters working the copper as they did hundreds of years ago. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Afternoon free. Accommodation.
8th. Day (Tuesday) FEZ-TANGIER-COSTA DEL SOL (Ferry) (600 kms)
Breakfast and departure to Tangier for Spain. Upon ar- rival, assistance from our staff and transfers to the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.
9th. Day (Wednesday) COSTA DEL SOL-GRANADA* (180 kms)
Breakfast. Departure to Granada. Visit to the spectacu- lar group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnifi- cent fountains, gardens and arches. Dinner and accom- modations. Optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte and attend a typical show of gipsy flamenco.
10th. Day (Thursday) GRANADA-TOLEDO-MADRID (446 kms)
Breakfast and departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo, full of history and monuments. Lunch and panoramic view from Mirador del Valle and walk through it´s old town. Continuation back to Madrid. Arrival and end of our services.
