The Portuguese Way from Tui to Santiago is the most popular and travelled after the French Way.

1st. Day SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA-TUI

Arrival to Santiago de Compostela and optional transfer to Tui. This city is famous for its historical and artistic legacy. We highly suggest to visit the Old Town, the Cathedral and the International Bridge, that connects Spain and Portugal. You can also take this day to visit Valença do Minho. Accommodation.

2nd. Day TUI-PORRIÑO (16,1 kms. 4 hrs aprox. Difficulty Level: medium)

You will have to deliver your luggage at the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 hrs. Breakfast. This stage is probably one of the toughest but most beautiful along the way. We will cross the Miño River and climb up to Ribadelouro. For moment, it can seem longer than it really is, as it goes through paved and urban areas, but those pilgrims who prefer a more natural alternative, can walk this stage crossing the Natural Park As Gándaras. This alternative is duly signposted. Accommodation.

3rd. Day PORRIÑO-REDONDELA (15,5 kms. 4 hrs aprox. Difficulty Level: medium)

You will have to deliver your luggage at the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 hrs. Breakfast. Climbings in this stage can be tough, but the beautiful sights will make it worth the effort. Once we arrive to the lovely town of Mons, we will find the first climbing towards the Alto de Inxertado. Once arrived we will begin our way down to Redondela. Accommodation.

4th. Day REDONDELA-PONTEVEDRA (19,6 kms. 5 hrs aprox. Difficulty Level: medium)

You will have to deliver your luggage at the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 hrs. Breakfast. We will begin this stage to Setefontes and Arcade (famous for its oysters). Going through the Ria of Vigo, we will cross leafy forests until we arrive to the historic Bridge de Sampaio on our way to Pontevedra. Accommodation.

5th. Day PONTEVEDRA-CALDAS DE REIS (21,1 kms. 5 hrs aprox. Difficulty Level: low)

You will have to deliver your luggage at the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 hrs. Breakfast. Today we have a peaceful and nice route ahead. We will leave unevenness behind to walk a soft and plain stage. On our way to Caldas de Reis we will visit different charming towns. Accommodation.

6th. Day CALDAS DE REIS-PADRÓN (18,5 kms. 4 hrs aprox. Difficulty Level: low)

You will have to deliver your luggage at the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 hrs. Breakfast. Today we will walk the stage with the most beautiful landscapes of this Way. Vineyards, colorful cultivated fields, the Valley of Bermaña, chestnuts and eucalyptus forests….enjoying the most agricultural side of Galicia. We will finish our day in Padrón, where we cannot forget to taste their famous peppers. Accommodation.

7th. Day PADRÓN-SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (24,3 kms. 6 hrs aprox. Difficulty Level: low)

You will have to deliver your luggage at the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 hrs. Breakfast. Last stage of our Way. We will go through the N-550 route several times and we will guide by the railways. We will first go to Iria Flavia and begin our way up to O Milladoiro to finally start seeing the towers of the Cathedral while we keep getting closer to Santiago. At this point we will feel both, the excitement of arriving and the sorrow of finishing this unforgettable experience. Accommodation.

8th. Day SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast. End of our services.
